Writing
So this weekend I’ve learned that writing makes me:
Hungry
Tired
Want to do house work
I’ve eaten: a bag of popcorn, many Reese’s cups (they were hidden in the freezer so as not to be given to the trick-or-treaters), peanut butter and jelly, Hershey bars (hidden in with the tootsie rolls I had to pick them out) my Ikea cookies and another peanut butter and jelly. If I had any chips that I like in the house, I’d have eaten them, the whole bag. If I had bananas or other fruit, I’d have eaten all of that too (and been quite sick). I’ve been at the writing today, for about half an hour, minus the time for making the popcorn and the sandwiches.
When I thought of writing yesterday, I got extremely tired and took a nap. When I got up from the nap I decided it was time to do laundry and clean the bathroom. Then I looked at the enormous stack of books I got with my birthday haul (mmm Borders gift cards) and thought I should start reading one of these books, I fell asleep again trying to read, then it was time for dinner…
Yeah, the old procrastinating ways are taking over. Who’s the master of avoidance?!
