The end is nigh! Two super massive black holes spiraling toward each other! How will we ever survive? The collision is going to create a super super massive black hole! ARUGH!!!
Yesterday was the big going away party for the 3rd person in the past month and a half who quit. I had decided to actually go to this party, but then at lunch when they all gathered to go out and didn’t invite me, I started to wonder if I really wanted to go to this party afterall. Do I REALLY want to socialize with these people? People who have stories on Monday about how they woke up Saturday and had dried blood on their head,in their hair and on their front door…and don’t remember anything past their 5th shot. They describe how their apartment door was not closed all the way and their keys were still in the doorknob. Do I really want to hang out with people? It’s not like everyone here is in their 20’s….A good chunk are over 35. Damn, at JIA we were all in our 20’s and I never once heard a story about dried blood on the door the next morning.
However, a couple of people convinced me I should go (not co-workers) so I went. Had a beverage and left. Eh…things certain people (LG) do/say just annoy the crap out of me. I can’t say why the way LG laughs or talks is like nails on a blackboard to me but having to hear it all day and then for an extra hour after work is just too much to bear. I never thought I’d beg to get fired…
Today we’ve got a group of High School kids coming in to learn about advertising. LG is supposed to give a presentation on media buying. Poor kids…
On a completely different subject… What can I do to this computer here to sabotage it and force them to get me a new one? Ideas? Thoughts? Threats?
