Hey sports fans!
The Relay for Life was a lot of fun. It was hot enough to melt my hair on Saturday. But we got out and walked around and around on the track. People won prizes, got blisters and sunburn, sweated like pigs, danced the “Electric Slide” and passed out. I tried to expose my fellow Relayers to some good SKA music but they didn’t seem to enjoy it they claimed it was “too hard” however, the Black Sabbath, Def Leppard and AC/DC was “lite” enough for them?? Puh-leeze! It was fun. Our event raised $26,500 overall. My team raised over a thousand dollars (and there were only 4 of us!)
Well, that’s about it for now. I’ve got “work” to do!
