Odds-n-Ends

I’ve lost my good headphones for my iPod. In a cleaning frenzy I “put them away” away where exactly I don’t know. But rest assured, they are put away so away that I can’t use them. Arugh… right when I’ve come up with an idea for a brilliant playlist too.

Mabel is making more progress. Not only did she come downstairs, but she approached me at the couch with the dogs around. She stood there and meowed at me for attention. And the dogs did….NOTHING. Which was even more progress. By January Mabel will be sitting on top of me and the boy begging one of us to pet her, it is certain.

Saw The Incredibles this weekend another fabulous film by Pixar. It’s a must see, absolutely BRILLIANT. Also saw The SpongeBob SquarePants Movie it was funny in spots, and in other spots it was very very stupid. The whole David Hasselhoff portion was…disturbing. There’s also a fashion choice of Patrick’s at the end of the movie that’s rather disturbing as well. I say, if you’re a HUGE fan of SpongeBob, go see it…if you’ve only seen a few episodes and thought, “cute cartoon” don’t bother.

My Sims 2 game is still not properly working a month after it’s purchase. We’ve returned the CD version twice, got the DVD version and after it’s initial loading, the tutorial worked OK, up until I was putting siding on the house, then it crashed and now it’s back to not working… Here’s the problem we load it, and you’re supposed to get like 2 or 3 pre-made neighborhoods to play with and the tutorial is supposed to work. Well, when I now (and in the previous CD launches) load the game, there are NO pre made neighborhoods (only the icon for building my own shows up) and the tutorial doesn’t run at all… Anyone else have this problem? What the hell is wrong with this lame assed game? Should I just return it a 3rd time and get something else? If so what do you suggest?
