In the continuing saga of Dude Upstairs…
Dear Dude Upstairs,
I heard you were moving out this evening. I really hope we get a chance to talk before you go. You’ve been avoiding me for the past two weeks. If there’s one thing I hate it’s an avoider. Look, you know you did something wrong, you know that what you did hurt me (and my electronics) so own up to it and come talk to me. What do you think I’m going to do, beat you with my bat? What will that solve? Did I yell at you when this whole mess took place? No, I didn’t, I was pretty calm and I was nicer than any person you will ever encounter again would be in this situation. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve got a temper. But I know when to let it loose and when to control it. This is not a situation where getting angry will solve anything. I know that screaming at you will not help anything.
I am not an unreasonable person. If you come talk to me we can reach an agreement. I understand that between me and Al there’s a lot of money you owe because of this whole mess. I’m pretty sure you don’t have that kind of money just lying around to give to people. We could sort something out, but you’ve got to come home before 1am so that we can talk like the adults I know we both are. I can’t talk to you if you’re never around. We can’t work this out if you continue avoid me.
Own up to what you did, you know you’re at fault. Suck it up and come talk to me.
Thank you,
The girl who lives downstairs.
