Note to self
When planning a weekend away, do NOT plan an event for the evening you are to leave not even if it is something incredibly fun. Such a very bad idea. Also, before leaving always ALWAYS check weather conditions. Never again do you ever want to be stuck driving in blizzard like conditions on roads that have not yet been plowed or salted.
