Serious Face
I feel the need to share these two photos of Violet taken the weekend of her birthday party. I just love these pictures so much. I have to post them and share with all of you readers of mine. Look at those eyes, and that totally serious face of hers. Isn’t she cute?!
I love her to pieces, she’s the prettiest girl in the world. I even wrote a song for her that I always ask Sam if she’s singing to her. I think it’s very important to remind our daughters every day how pretty they are, I want Violet to grow up KNOWING she’s pretty. Because she is, look at her!
Violet models the poncho
Here she is wearing the poncho I knitted for her. She pulled off the hood. Not exactly the best shot, but it shows that the poncho fits. I hope she likes it and wears it often. I need to keep working on the knitting of clothing. I’m still not very good at it.

What a face, PA! You have a right to be proud of your niece.
As for the knitting, practice (and perhaps a smaller needle) will help. Keep knitting and work proportion. When you have some free time, knit with me.
