Crap!
I’ve had a hankering for chocolate chip cookies for some time now. But I either didn’t have chips or I ran out of eggs, or something was missing when I went to make them. This evening at about 11pm I decided to make the cookies. And it seems the past few batches just haven’t been right. The cookies are so thin and the batter has been runny. Well, it’s decided, the problem with the cookies is LIGHT BROWN SUGAR. Baking chocolate chip cookies with light brown sugar ruins the whole recipe. I am not going to settle for light brown next time I’m at the store. I will hunt down DARK BROWN SUGAR if it kills me. NO more cookies like this…
