Craziness
So this woman in Hammond, IN is driving in her mini van with her 4 children. She’s in the Hammond South Shore train station parking lot racing a freight train so that she can get to the crossing before the train, to cross without having to wait. We know she raced the train because the whole thing was caught on two cameras in the parking lot.
The woman didn’t get to the crossing fast enough. To top it all off, there were TWO trains coming, the one she was racing and another that was coming toward it. Two of her children didn’t make it, and just recently the mother died. She was 32.
I’d really like to know what was so important on the other side of the train tracks that would make a woman be so reckless with not just her life, but the lives of her 4 children? Did she never learn that when it came down to your car and a freight train, your car will never win? Did one of the kids have to pee really bad? Was her brain on fire? I honestly can’t think of a single thing that would make me be so reckless with the lives of my children, and I don’t even have kids.
What was she thinking? What was going on inside that van as she was racing the train?
