Only in England can they sell food by using fake words on the packaging. What exactly IS a “Squidgy orange bit”? Is it something I should be eating? Is it good for me? Just because it is orange does it mean it’ll taste like the fruit or does the squidgy part make it not really orange anymore?
I have to admit, Jaffa Cakes are good, chocolatey with a bit of orange. But squidgy bits? Jaffa Cakes not only have squidgy on the package but also the word “yippee” (see other photos on Flikr) any box with the words squidgy and yippee on it will make me buy it! Just as long as it’s not “oogy” I’m up for it!
