I’m so glad that Sara got axed on Hell’s Kitchen last night. She was such a nasty little schemer. She failed to realize that teamwork is the way to the top on Hell’s Kitchen. You show how you’re the best by letting Chef Ramsay see how you’re able to do your job and help others by picking up the slack when they end up in the weeds. Sara can’t handle being part of a team. And when she questioned Heather as to why she was being chosen and not Keith, I just about died. Heather should have just given it to her straight, Sara honey, A – you FOUGHT WITH CHEF! You don’t fight with the guy in charge and B – You didn’t plan ahead, you didn’t make sure you had enough salmon at your station for the whole service. What did Keith do wrong? He didn’t cook the spaghetti all the way. That doesn’t totally break down service. But when you stop what your doing to fight with the Chef, and when you don’t make certain you have enough of what you need at your station, that breaks down service.
DAMN! Did you see how the tables were turned on Sara?! Chef told Virginia he’s a man of his word and said it was up to her if she stays or not. Holy cow… And the looks on Heather and Keith’s faces were priceless!
I’ve seen the BBC show of Ramsay’s Kitchen Nightmares. On there he shows he’s got a bit of a heart, he’s not just a foul mouth. He really tries to help people get their restaurant back in order, but I guess Americans just really want to watch some Brit screaming profanities at people. Not that he doesn’t scream profanitites on the BBC show. But it doesn’t seem like he’s trying to destroy the people like he does on Hell’s Kitchen.
But ya know, working in a restaurant, running a restaurant is hard work. you have to really WANT to do that in order to do it well. When the passion is gone, your restaurant goes with it. And then you might as well be McDonalds or Burger King cuz that’s how your food is going to taste.
But if anyone thinks they can handle it, it seems they’re casting the next season.
