Yay! Books!
“I didn’t think it’d be all books, I thought it was a celebration of books with bands and stuff.” – Overheard at the Printer’s Row Book Fair
For some people it’s shoes, others have purses or clothes, then there are some who have yarn and gadgets, for me, the weakness is books. I finally made the time to check out the Printer’s Row Book Fair. Blocks and blocks of booths filled with books. Some were selling new, others were selling used and there was someone selling video tapes? It was books for as far as the eye could see. And I have to admit, a lot of them were mystery/crime novels. Although, one booth had a lot of Steven King, and another had a bit too much Nora Roberts but I was able to cope. I’ve been reading a lot of Patricia Cornwell recently, although I haven’t been reading them in order so I have no idea what I’ve read and what I havent. I just know that I have Blow Fly in my book cabinet at this time waiting to be read. So, hopefully the ones I picked up haven’t been read yet. I also found a Tony Hillerman for pretty cheap and the boy got a stack of Tom Clancy novels.
It was a beautiful day, filled with books.
